The basics of Localization is to translate from one language to another. However, localization does not just stop at translation, but turns that raw translation into smooth and meaningful in the target language.

We don't have Clients, we have Partners
1. What is Localization?
2. How is Localization different from normal text translation?
Localization requires translators to have a lot of knowledge of both the translated language and the target language such as idioms, slang, cultures, etc. to make the translation meaningful and suitable for the target language.
3. When getting localization projects, how to ensure translators can translate smoothly without word by word?
We have to check the translator’s portfolio, see where they come from, work experience, educational background. In addition, when the translation is completed, there will be a Quality Assurance section, so any incorrect and inappropriate translations will be removed and the translator will be asked to check the translation again.
4. For cases such as brand names or idioms, will the translator translate into the language to be translated or remain the same?
This must depend on the understanding of the translator as well as each case of the language to be translated, if it is a common name worldwide, it will remain the same, for the rest, we encourage collaborators to translate almost all the words into the target language.
